About Me
Ireneaus Yong is a dynamic technology professional, educator, and entrepreneur with a strong foundation in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, and Cyber Security. With an academic journey spanning Africa, India, and global platforms, he has built a reputation as a forward-thinking innovator passionate about digital transformation and technology education.
He holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from the University Institute of the Gulf of Guinea (Cameroon), a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications from Chandigarh University, and a Master’s Degree in Computer Applications (Cloud Computing & DevOps) from Punjab Technical University. His academic background is strengthened by specialized training in AWS, DevOps, WordPress development, and Cyber Security.
Ireneaus has served as a Computer Science lecturer at several higher institutions in Douala, Cameroon, where he trained and mentored students in programming, database administration, and web development. His passion for teaching positions him primarily as a trainer and mentor, dedicated to equipping young professionals with practical, industry-ready skills.
Beyond academia, he has worked in the Network Operating Center (NOC) department at Nextell Cameroon, gaining hands-on experience in network systems and technical operations. He has also developed numerous professional websites for businesses across different industries, demonstrating strong expertise in web technologies and digital solutions.
As the founder of Firstborn Technologies and Godfather Solutions, Ireneaus provides IT support services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity training, and digital business consulting. His vision is to bridge the technology gap between Africa and the global tech ecosystem by empowering individuals and businesses through innovation and education.
Currently, Ireneaus is deepening his research interest in Cyber Crime Investigation and Digital Forensics, with long-term academic ambitions toward a PhD in Cyber Security. His mission is to become a global authority in cyber security training and digital investigations while continuing to mentor the next generation of tech leaders.
